Youth in Motion
Youth in Motion is a program for children and young adults who have a disability and want to get together with others who have a disability to play games and sports in a wheelchair. Currently these are all played inside in a gym.
Who can participate?
Any child or young adult who is a wheelchair user or would like to play in a wheelchair, i. e. paraplegic, quadriplegic, amputee, anyone who has Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy or who has any problems with their legs or any other type of a disability. We also encourage: parents, siblings, friends to participate. ( We have extra wheelchairs)
Where can I participate?
We meet at the Brewer Recreation Center at 318 Wilson Street the first Saturday of every month from 6 to 7:30 pm. There is no fee involved. If you would like to find out more about this program please contact Weston Smith at 941-6553 , 1-800-300-6016 or email@example.com .
