Give the gift of independence

For nearly 40 years, Alpha One has provided essential independent living services to thousands of people across Maine with physical or intellectual disabilities.

From redesigning and refitting homes to teaching self-care and advocacy to helping individuals prepare for employment, Alpha One will partner with more than 6,000 Mainers this year on their road to the independence so many of us take for granted.

Make an online gift:
This is the fastest and easiest way to give, whether a one-time or recurring gift.

Mail a gift:
Send your check to: Alpha One, 127 Main Street, South Portland, ME 04106.

Call in your gift:
Call (207) 767-2189 to make a Visa or Master Card contribution. All gifts in any amounts are very helpful and truly appreciated.

Pay tribute:
Consider a meaningful tribute by making a gift to Alpha One in honor of a friend or loved one. This method of giving is also very appropriate as a memorial gift rather than sending flowers or other traditional expressions of sympathy.

A planned gift:
A bequest through a will is the most common planned gift, other examples include life insurance, retirement plans, real estate, property or charitable trusts.
